May 11, 2007- Several pieces of good news! My Dad has finished his chemo treatments and it looks as if his body is really fighting the cancer and he has bought himself a lot more time! We are all thrilled for Dad and Ginnee and all of us who love him who want to keep him aroung as long as possible!!

We closed on our old house today! So we can finally pay off some bills, stop paying two mortages and breath a bit easier. Everything is going well with the grant I am working on. I have a little under a year and a half left to work at Hi Hope unless they talk me into staying longer. Then I will be able to concentrate on my art full time. This has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. That one day I would be a working artist. I'm 52 now. Times a wasting!!!!

We recently took care of a co-workers 11year old for a week. I't been a long time since I had an 11 year old boy in the house! Bren and I are fairly exhausted, but he told me this morning on the way to school that my "cool level" has raised a lot. I even learned new lingo, and hand signs. He turned and smiled at me on his way in to school this morning giving me the sign for "peace" and "hair grease!"

I've been having creative overflow recently, completing 3 new windows and 3 new gazing balls. You can see one of the pieces on the right. The others will be put on the gallery page as soon as I can get good photos of them.

The Gardens

April, 18, 2007

It's been months and months since I updated and I apologize. We've been settling into our new house. I've been working in the garden every chance I get and spending time in the new studio.

I have created a new garden page for anyone interested in what's been going on there.
